• rateworld_country — remembers whether you are browsing the US or Canada edition so the site stays consistent between pages. Expires after 180 days.
• rateworld_consent — remembers the cookie choice you made in our consent banner (accepted or rejected), so we do not re-ask on every visit. Expires after 12 months.

Analytics & Advertising (only with your consent)

These load only after you click "Accept all" in our cookie banner. If you reject, they are never loaded and set no cookies:

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) — helps us understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type) so we can improve it. Data is processed by Google according to its own privacy policy.
• Meta Pixel (_fbp) — helps us measure the performance of our advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook/Instagram) and show more relevant ads. Data is processed by Meta according to its own privacy policy.

• Cookie banner — on your first visit, choose "Accept all" or "Reject all". Nothing optional loads before you choose.
• Change your mind anytime — use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to reopen the banner and switch your choice. Withdrawing consent stops new tracking immediately; cookies already set can be removed in your browser.
• Browser controls — you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works (for example, your region preference will not be remembered).

If we add, remove, or materially change a cookie or tracking technology, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent again through the banner. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
